I've now imported two cars via Autoport, both PHEVs, and I am happy to report that on both occasions I found the process to be seamless. Each time their team took care of everything from pre-purchase inspection in Japan to compliance and vinning in NZ, providing email updates along the way - the only hard part was waiting for my vehicles to arrive! The only paperwork on my end was applying to NZTA for the Clean Car Rebate. So if you're seeking a specific model or trim level not available here, Autoport is the place I found mine, and I'll recommend them to anyone!

Start to finish the communication has been outstanding and the customer service top notch. Daniel and the team always kept me up to update with the progress of my vehicle, from leaving Japan to driving away in the car. We’re a retired couple and needed a reliable car at the right price. Dealing with a NZ company who handles everything took the hassle away. We didn’t have to worry about haggling with anyone over the price or getting pushed into buying extras and the price we ended up paying was much better than local prices.
