This was my first time importing a vehicle. (Suzuki Every Wagon from Japan). I looked into the process with a view to arranging it myself, but it seemed mighty complex, so I was pleased to find Grabacar. After watching for a while the ideal van came up, so I took what I thought was a gamble and hit the "buy now" button. Best thing I ever did. Brilliant service from start to finish. Genuinely one price given at the start covered EVERYTHING. (I did add on undersealing the van and delivery to my home address though). The vehicle is exactly as described; communication was very very good, they were friendly to speak to and explained everything. All questions answered quickly and clearly. There were many, as I'd not been through the process before. There was a very long wait - not the fault of Grabacar at all- due largely to being at the whim of the shipping lines, and also delivery coinciding with UK holidays. But it got here eventually and I'm extremely happy. I would certainly recommend Grabacar to anyone.

Crazy! I bought a van from Japan, sight unseen. I couldn’t be happier. I’d done some research and I knew the vehicle I wanted. A Google search led me to Autoport. I sent an email message of interest and was contacted by phone within 2 hours. Daniel at Autoport answered all my questions. I felt very confident, to say nothing of excited, to purchase. A deposit was all it took to secure the vehicle and start the ball rolling. All throughout the process I was well informed, by the lovely Carlene, of every step of my new vehicles journey from Japan. At no time did I worry about a thing. It arrived in the time expected. AND it was delivered to me, personally by Daniel, at home - easy. Price in the website includes shipping, rego, 1 year mechanical breakdown, valet and $100 petrol. 3.(07/03/2026) Carlene email regarding 3rd party premium inspection and paperwork. 4. (27/03/2026) Carlene email vehicle leaving Japan. 5.(21/04/2026) Arrived Auckland Port, 10 working days for compliance, wof, mechanical breakdown, rego and valet 6.(07/05/2026) Delivered at home by Daniel. Almost 2 months but it really worth waiting ! Very happy to drive my car. It's my pleasure and definitely will recommend Autoport NZ to my friends and relatives....

2013 Mercedes Benz SL350 AMG Sport
We weren’t sure about buying a near new car from the UK as we didn’t like the idea of sending a lot of cash overseas and we didn’t know about claiming VAT. Autoport managed all that. The car had just 500 miles on the clock, was highly spec’d and the savings were very, very significant! Totally comfortable and totally trustworthy service and I like we got the right car direct from the source but dealt with a local NZ company. Very happy thanks for the great deal.
