2007 Mazda Axela
The thought of importing a car was something my wife and I have thought about in the past, but it fell into the too hard basket and we had no idea where to start, that was until a friend introduced me to Autoport. 2008 Jaguar XJ
Having been a Jaguar enthusiast for more than 65 years I was trying to find a low mileage classic Jaguar to enjoy while I could still drive.
I found such a car in Japan. I had no idea how to go about having it thoroughly inspected to ensure it was genuinely as reported. Even less how to securely purchase the vehicle. Have it removed from the Japanese register. Complete export documentation and shipping. Arrange for import to NZ or the procedure to have it registered, WOF etc ready to legally drive here.
Here the wonderful team at Autoport.nz took over. They set out an easily understood breakdown of the procedure and costs from initial inspection, purchase, shipping and costs in NZ ready for me to drive away.
I paid a 10% deposit and left everything to them.
