When searching for a car, we came across Autoport.nz purely by chance – and we are really pleased that we did. After a brief meeting with Daniel, expectations and obligations were sorted by a handshake, and the order was placed. Then what seemed like a long 6 or so weeks began, waiting for this beauty to arrive – meanwhile Carlene kept us informed every step of the way. It’s fair to say that we were a bit apprehensive – the unknown of “what are we going to get” – but the car and the condition was exactly as promised. A minor mechanical issue was discovered after taking delivery, but the Autoport Team are meeting their obligation to correct that for us. Stop reading - call them up and have a chat. Communication was faultless and we were in good hands throughout. The car's been stripped down, inspected for hidden damage, and arrived on our driveway without a scratch. First of its model registered in NZ - no dramas. Old man almost cracked a smile. Now if only he'd drive it instead of looking at it all day.

I've now imported two cars via Autoport, both PHEVs, and I am happy to report that on both occasions I found the process to be seamless. Each time their team took care of everything from pre-purchase inspection in Japan to compliance and vinning in NZ, providing email updates along the way - the only hard part was waiting for my vehicles to arrive! The only paperwork on my end was applying to NZTA for the Clean Car Rebate. So if you're seeking a specific model or trim level not available here, Autoport is the place I found mine, and I'll recommend them to anyone!
