Having been a Jaguar enthusiast for more than 65 years I was trying to find a low mileage classic Jaguar to enjoy while I could still drive. I found such a car in Japan. I had no idea how to go about having it thoroughly inspected to ensure it was genuinely as reported. Even less how to securely purchase the vehicle. Have it removed from the Japanese register. I had never purchased a vehicle on-line before, so I was apprehensive about how it all worked. I need not have worried, Autoport was obviously experienced as they answered all my questions reassuringly and allayed my fears by explaining the process clearly to me. They informed me of progress as it happened, the clearance, the loading, the transporting, even the whereabouts of the ship and its ports of call. I was even met at the airport and taken to their depot where again, all the paperwork was completed, and the car was mine! But it didn't stop there. I can't read Japanese. We weren’t sure about buying a near new car from the UK as we didn’t like the idea of sending a lot of cash overseas and we didn’t know about claiming VAT. Autoport managed all that. The car had just 500 miles on the clock, was highly spec’d and the savings were very, very significant!
